Where Newcastle United’s players have gone holiday - from Disneyland to Miami & more

While Newcastle United players Kieran Trippier, Callum Wilson and Nick Pope are in Qatar preparing for the World Cup as part of the England squad, and other players are also there for other countries such as Bruno Guimaraes for Brazil, the rest of Newcastle United squad are taking a break from football in beautiful destinations.

Eddie Howe’s side are enjoying some well-deserved time following an impressive start to the Premier League, where they currently sit third in the table with 30 points from their opening 15 games.

Many have decided to spend this time relaxing with their loved ones before jetting off to Saudi Arabia on December 4 for what Howe described as a “mini pre-season” ahead of returning to competitive action against Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup.

Loris Karius

Goalkeeper Loris Karius has been spotted in Miami with his most recent flame, Italian television presenter Diletta Leotta who shared Instagram stories of the pair enjoying the sun. Karius has been known to frequent Miami in the past, and has holidayed there with previous girlfriends.

Sven Botman

Sven Botman has decided to land in Dubai, a holiday hotspot for celebrities. The defender has shared videos to his Instagram story showcasing his view of the beautiful skyline while he watched a DJ set.

Matt Targett

Matt Targett shared a carousel of images to Instagram captioned: “the big apple” on Wednesday.  In the images, we see Matt with his fiancee Jasmine Buckle as well as scenic images of the New York City skyline and of Matt himself in tourist spots.

Joelinton

Joelinton has spent his break from football spending quality time with his family in Disneyland Paris. His fiancee Thays Gondim shared images to her Instagram story looking at Disney Christmas decorations, adorable images of her and Joelinton posing at the park in raincoats as well as a loving group family pic at the Eiffel Tower.

Joe Willock

Like teammate Targett, Joe Willock has also jetted off to ‘the big apple’. The former Arsenal midfielder scored for Newcastle in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Chelsea and celebrated by doing a basketball pose. Watching a basketball game is one of the many activities Willock is expected to do.
