Newcastle United’s £59m summer transfer spree so far compared to Aston Villa and Brighton as deadline day approaches

It’s been a busy summer of transfer activity for Newcastle United.

The Magpies have recruited relatively heavily, and the early signs this season have been that their newest additions have settled in well, with five points from the first three matches of the Premier League season.
