Where to grab a Christmas cocktail in Newcastle

What better way to enhance your Christmas night out in Newcastle than to sip on a festive beverage? Cocktail bars across the city have released Christmas cocktails just in time for December, with some even releasing whole Christmas drinks menus!

Here are three of the best places in Newcastle to grab a Christmas cocktail on your nights in the town.

Newcastle is home to two Slug and Lettuce bars, one located on Grainger Street and the other located on Newcastle’s Quayside. The bar has released a full Christmas drinks menu, which they describe on their website as “full of sweet flavours and all the festive vibes”. The cocktails have festive names and include; All The Tinsel Ladies, Bambini Bellini, Sleigh My Name, Let It Go and Berry Hot Chocolate. For each sale of a Christmas cocktail, 5p will go to The Motor Neurone Disease Association. 

All Bar One

In a unique Christmas twist, Grey Street bar All Bar One has partnered with chocolate company Hotel Chocolat again, to release Christmas cocktails. On their website, they wrote: “your favourite collaboration is back”. On the menu, they are named Dessert Cocktails. The drinks include; Midnight Tiramisu, Chocolat Martini and two limited edition cocktails, Petit Cadeaux and Xmas Martini.

97 & Social

Located in Jesmond, 97 & Social have also released a special Christmas menu. Their drinks include warming Christmas classic, Mulled Wine at only £5, as well as Uncle Albert’s Eggnog, Pomegranate Sour, Salted Maple Old Fashioned, Feliz Navidad and a Gingerbread White Russian - which sounds absolutely delicious.
