Vue cinemas will be screening a special Valentine’s Day timetable. The movies available to watch include a 3D remastered version of classic love story Titanic, to celebrate 25 years since the movie’s original release. They will also be screening 2011 comedy hit Bridesmaids, 1993 rom-com Sleepless in Seattle and the newest Magic Mike movie (Magic Mike: The Last Dance), which is the third and final instalment of the franchise. Newcastle is home to the Everyman cinema, who will be screening a variety of the newest releases from their cosy cinema.

Enjoy a Magic Mike performance at the Purple Peacock

Newcastle’s Purple Peacock will be hosting a special Valentine’s Day event for those celebrating Galentines and Palentines. The bar which is located on Pilgrim Street is bringing an iconic performance from the bar’s male dancers which is inspired by the Magic Mike movies and shows. Dine in the clouds at 3SIXTY

3SIXTY Champagne Lounge is a luxurious venue with a delicious menu and breath-taking views of the city. The restaurant will be offering a special Valentine’s Day menu, which consists of three courses and a glass of prosecco on arrival. Dishes on the menu include; Surf and Turf Sirloin Steak with King Prawns and a Lamb Shank in a Red Wine Jus.

Go for a stroll along Tynemouth beach

Just outside of Newcastle, is the stunning Tynemouth coastline. The popular area is also home to amazing restaurants to dine in. Asian inspired restaurant Buddha Lounge has an amazing venue and a delicious selection of menu options.
