Enormous charity shop in Gateshead goes viral on TikTok

A huge charity shop located within the Retail World at Team Valley in Gateshead, has gone viral on TikTok after a Newcastle influencer shared a video of the store.

Daisy Chain Project, which is based in Stockton-on-Tees, supports autistic and neurodivergent individuals.

They opened their first ‘megastore’ to raise funds for their cause, located in Stockton-on-Tees.

Their second, which is named ‘Daisy Chain Megastore’ opened earlier this month in Gateshead.  Gateshead’s Daisy Chain is a massive 23,000 square foot store, which sells a variety of items from vintage clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac and more!

The Gateshead location has recently gone viral on TikTok, after Newcastle based blogger Pippa Gilroy shared a video of what you can find in the amazing store.

In her video, Pippa shares that the store has two huge floors of second hand items, which includes womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, toys, furniture, electronics and homeware.

The store even has a boutique section, where customers can find pre-loved vintage and designer pieces at an affordable price.

The TikTok video racked up over 70 thousand views, and over 3 thousands likes.

Daisy Chain Megastore in Gateshead is open Monday to Thursday from 10am until 6pm, Friday to Saturday from 10am until 7pm and 11am until 5pm on Sundays.

Daisy Chain Megastore welcomes donations, with the exception of broken, stained or damaged items, underwear and socks (unless unopened) and perishable items.

The store also runs a ‘drive and drop’ scheme, where the team can collect unwanted furniture free of charge from nearby areas.
