Newcastle United WAG shares frustration at referee after Arsenal defeat

Newcastle WAG Charlotte Trippier, who has been married to player Kieran Trippier since 2016, has shared her frustration with the referee of Newcastle’s match against Arsenal which took place yesterday (Sunday, May 7).

Kieran’s stunning wife took to Instagram to share clips of the match, which included a video of fans waving their black and white flags.

She also shared her feelings, first first uploading a video of herself watching the game and talking to the camera, as she said: “Stress levels 100”.

She later posted yet another clip, of herself looking towards the direction of the pitch. She captioned the boomerang post, which was uploaded to her Instagram story, “Throwing diggers at today’s ref like”’ alongside two angry and stressed emoji faces.

Charlotte also shared an Instagram post, captioned: “Beginning of the game - end of the game”, with a smiling emoji and angry emoji to represent how she was feeling.

Newcastle United fans took to the comments to echo Charlotte’s thoughts, with one person writing: “Tried to spy you today from our seats as I always love your outfits! No joy from the leazes end but Tripps did us proud as always”, while another wrote: “We are back strong next match mrs trippier”.

Photos included in the post were of Charlotte on her own, wearing a fashionable yet sporty outfit to the game. The outfit included a denim jacket, paired with tailored drawstring trousers, white trainers and a white Chanel bag.

Charlotte’s references on Instagram were made towards the referee at the Newcastle and Arsenal match which took place on Sunday, May 7 where they were defeated by 2-0.
