Rock superstar Bruce Springsteen who is nicknamed “The Boss”, met with our very own rockstar Sam Fender, last month.

29-year-old Fender, from North Shields who is currently gearing up for a huge two-day concert at Newcastle United football stadium, St James’ Park on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10 has previously cited Springsteen as a major influence on music career, specifically his 1975 album Born To Run.

However, in a complete surprise to fans of both Springsteen and Fender, an image of the two meeting backstage was also included in the carousel of photos.

In the photo, which is the sixth slide out of ten images shared on the post, the pair can be seen chatting, and although what they discussed is not known, Fender can be seen with his hand on his chest, as if he is discussing something he feels passionately about.

Also seen in the background of the photo is Fender’s band members, guitarist Dean Thompson and multi-instrumentalist Joe Atkinson, who are seen to be smiling at the exchange between Fender and Springsteen.
