He told us: “Things didn’t take off fast but I stayed grinding and worked until I perfected my craft. There were times I didn’t think things would go to plan and there were  times I generally felt like hanging the mic up.

However, Cruzin’s passion for music and dreams of becoming a rapper encouraged him to keep going.

He released his most recent song, N.D.O (No Days Off) on May 29, with an accompanying music video uploaded to YouTube. Despite being released only 11 days ago, the video has already gained 36,000 views, which is continuing to grow with each day.

Cruzin said: “The reaction I’ve had is crazy! I’ve had people from the likes of Toronto and Germany reach out about the song. It’s amazing the fact people are taking my sound and running with it.”

He further explained that he even bumped into a bunch of young fans while walking to the shops who asked for a photo, which left him “speechless”.

The success of N.D.O (No Days Off) has encouraged Cruzin, whose slogan is “just a cheeky scouser” to work on more tracks, and the rapper is planning collaborations with other artists.
