The Wielio smart projector has dropped below £90 on Amazon with Android 14, built-in streaming apps and 4K support
Big-screen home cinema setups do not have to cost hundreds these days, especially with portable smart projectors becoming cheaper and more feature-packed. One model currently climbing Amazon’s charts is the new 2026 Wielio smart projector, which has now dropped to £89.99 in a limited-time half-price deal.
Previously listed at £179.99, the compact projector combines built-in streaming apps, native 1080P resolution and WiFi 6 support at a price point that undercuts many mainstream rivals.
Shoppers can currently grab the Wielio Android 14 smart projector on Amazon for £89.99, with the deal marking one of the cheapest entry points into portable home cinema setups right now.
Unlike older budget projectors that still rely heavily on external streaming sticks or HDMI devices, this model runs Android 14 directly from the projector itself. Apps including YouTube and Prime Video can be accessed without plugging in additional hardware, turning it into more of a standalone entertainment hub than a simple display device.
The Amazon listing for the Wielio projector also highlights WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, allowing wireless casting from phones and tablets alongside Bluetooth speaker pairing for a cleaner setup with fewer cables trailing across the room.
Gaming is another area where compact projectors like this are becoming increasingly popular. The projector supports connections for consoles including PS5 and Nintendo Switch, while the portable design could make it useful for everything from bedroom gaming sessions to outdoor movie nights during warmer weather.
Buyers browsing the current Amazon projector deal will also notice features including automatic four-point keystone correction and digital zoom controls. In practice, that means the image can automatically adjust itself when the projector is positioned off-centre rather than directly facing the wall or screen.
One feature that stands out visually is the integrated 360-degree rotating stand. Instead of needing a separate mount or tripod, users can quickly angle the projector towards ceilings, walls or different parts of a room without additional accessories.
The projector claims brightness levels of 20,000 lumens, although shoppers should always treat marketplace brightness figures cautiously when comparing lower-cost projectors against premium cinema brands. Still, native 1080P support and 4K decoding compatibility help strengthen the value proposition at this price.
Amazon customers can also browse the latest reviews and ratings for the Wielio projector here, with the device currently holding a five-star rating from more than 140 reviews at the time of writing.
Another selling point is the low claimed fan noise of under 30dB. Cooling systems are often one of the biggest compromises on ultra-budget projectors, so quieter operation could make a noticeable difference during films or late-night viewing sessions.
For shoppers wanting an affordable projector for streaming, casual gaming or portable movie nights without spending several hundred pounds, the discounted Wielio projector deal on Amazon looks likely to attract plenty of attention while the price remains below £90.
