Take a look at 13 brilliant views of the street which all come to us courtesy of the brilliant Newcastle Photo Archive.
The picture-packed archive is run by an independent voluntary organisation set up in 1984.
Its aim is to collect and maintain an archive of images illustrating the heritage and history of west Newcastle.
We think it’s superb and here are 13 views to illustrate it.
