Newcastle city centre hasn’t changed that much since the 1990s. Most of the buildings remain the same and immediately recognisable from these old photographs.

However, flicking through them you can see the transformation some of our pubs and clubs have gone through over the past 20 years.

Names have changed and some have been abandoned for a long time.

Others, on the other hand, have remained extactly the same.
