Newcastle United are planning for a big summer with changes expected on and off the pitch.
Away from Eddie Howe's first-team squad, the Magpies have a decision to make in regards to the sporting director position after Dan Ashworth was placed on gardening leave. Ashworth wants to join Manchester United but United are demanding a compensation package in the region of £20million.
Despite Ashworth's exit, United are pressing ahead with summer plans, and that is likely to see both incomings and outgoings. In reference to the latter, a number of players are out-of-contract, either this summer or next, and while the likes of Bruno Guimaraes continue to be the subject of transfer speculation.
