It has already been a memorable season for Newcastle United supporters.
Although the campaign got off to a tricky start with three defeats in their opening four games, Eddie Howe’s side have enjoyed a remarkable upturn in form and will look to extend their unbeaten run to an eighth game in all competitions when they return to Premier League action with a home game against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
That run included the hard-earned 1-0 Carabao Cup win against treble winners Manchester City, the goalless draw in a nervy Champions League opener at AC Milan and, of course, the outstanding performance as Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain were humbled at St James Park as Miguel Almiron, Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff and Fabian Schar all scored as the Magpies claimed a 4-1 win.
There were a whole host of familiar faces in the crowd at St James Park on that night and the Magpies are able to rely on the backing of a whole host of celebrities from the world of television, music, politics and more.
