It was derby day delight for Newcastle United and its supporters as they celebrated their first victory over Sunderland in 12 years.
The Tyne-Wear rivals faced off at the Stadium of Light for the first time since August 2016. A lot of changed since then, not least to the two clubs' league status, and that was certainly on show as the Premier League Magpies swept aside the Championship Black Cats - winning 3-0.
The breakthrough came via a Dan Ballard own goal when he turned Joelinton's cros into his own net. Alexander Isak then wrote himself in derby folklore with a second-half brace, first with a tap-in and then a 90th-minute penalty.
It proved to be a memorable day for the 6,000 travelling Geordies. NewcastleWorld has rounded up the best photos - click and scroll through the pages to re-live it all:
