Newcastle United forward Allan Saint-Maximin has paid tribute former boss Steve Bruce after the head coach left the club by ‘mutual consent’.

Saint-Maximin took to Twitter to say: “You are, without a doubt, one of the most gentle people that I have ever met in the world of football. “It has been an honour and a privilege to have you as a coach, thank you Steve .”
