AI predicts final day Premier League results as Newcastle United see major Champions League race twist

AI predicts the final day Premier League results for Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

Come close of play today, Newcastle United will know whether they are dining at Europe’s top table again.

For Newcastle, the task appears pretty simple. Beat Everton at St James’ Park and Champions League football will be returning to St James’ Park for the second time in three seasons.

But David Moyes’ side are no mugs, something Howe was keen to highlight at his Friday press conference. Anything less than three points will force the Magpies to rely on results going in their favour elsewhere.

With third-place Manchester City needing just a point at Fulham to secure their qualification, the main focus very much surrounds what happens between Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

Newcastle sit fourth in the table on goal difference, level on 66 points with fifth place Chelsea and sixth place Villa, while Forest are seventh on 65 points.

Villa face Manchester United away this afternoon while Forest and Chelsea go against each other directly at the City Ground.

What has Eddie Howe said about Newcastle United’s Champions League bid?

Speaking at his Friday press conference, Howe said: “I think that's what we would ask, to be at home in front of our supporters. It's in our hands. I don't think we can ask for any more at this moment. Then of course you have to do the difficult part and take that opportunity and it's by no means a given.

“Everton have been in really good form. They've been difficult to beat, haven't conceded a lot of goals so we know the challenge is a big one. They've got threats in their team as well so we're going to have to be focused, concentrate on what we need to do to win the game and hopefully then the crowd can carry us through.

“I don't think we can look for any favours from anybody. We have to do our bit. And that's purely going to be the only thing in our minds. There'll be no talk of other results or other teams.

“What we'll be will be in that respect afterwards. We'll see and reflect but for us we know what we have to do.”
