Eddie Howe said a “late call” would be made on Saint-Maximin’s availability - and he is not present at the Brentford Community Stadium.

It was the second game running the 24-year-old has missed - joining key players Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson on the sidelines.

Jacob Murphy continues in his place with Ryan Fraser recovering from cramp to start in West London.

Javier Manquillo is back on the squad on the bench as Emil Krafth retains his right-back slot.
