Are Newcastle United or Man United in a ‘lucky end’ at Wembley? What League Cup final history says

Are Newcastle United or Manchester United fans in a ‘lucky end’ at Wembley? This is what League Cup final history tells us.

Newcastle United are preparing for their first Wembley final in 24 years - with only Premier League rivals Manchester United standing in the way of ending their 54-year trophy drought.

There have been some suggestions over the years of a ‘lucky end’ at Wembley, so we put that theory to the test and have gone all the way back to the first League Cup final at the New Wembley in 2008 to now.

Is the East side or West side the best? Or does it not really matter? We’ll let you be the judge of that.
