Arsenal are set for a big injury boost ahead of their Premier League visit to Newcastle United on Sunday (kick-off 4:30pm).
Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes is expected to be available despite going off injured in midweek.
Gabriel went down four times before being substituted with five minutes to go during the 3-1 victory over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
Mikel Arteta revealed his concern for Gabriel after the game but according to Football.London journalist Kaya Kaynak, the 25-year-old should feature at St James’ Park.
On the Newcastle front, head coach Eddie Howe provided updates on Sean Longstaff and Allan Saint-Maximin during his pre-match press conference. Longstaff missed the win against Southampton last weekend due to a foot injury, while Saint-Maximin has been sidelined since April 5.
