Bruno Guimaraes has publicly admitted that he’d love to see Newcastle United sign Brazilian teammate Lucas Paqueta.
Magpies fans have become fully aware of the special friendship between Guimaraes and Paqueta, which flourished during their Lyon days.

For 18 months in France, before Guimaraes joined United for £35million in January, the pair built an almost telepathic understanding, something that has continued at national team level.
It hasn’t gone unnoticed among the Newcastle fanbase, with plenty of Geordies on social media already cheekily suggesting the pair reunite at St James’ Park this summer.
There have even been tentative stories in France linking Eddie Howe’s side with a summer move.

Guimaraes, taking part in the club’s matchday programme feature Toon Tombola, was asked “if you could one former teammate to Newcastle, who would it be?”
Without hesitation, the 24-year-old said: “Ah, Lucas Paqueta. He is my brother, my best friend and I really get on great with him.
“We have the same way of thinking, we are the same age and we were together everything day - always talking to each other.
