The 24-year-old was unsure if he’d be fit to play at West Ham United last weekend, which was postponed following Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
“Yeah, I’ve been working hard for this. It’s my goal, but I don’t know if I will be ready,” Guimaraes told NUFCTV.
“I know I need to answer this question for many fans today! But I’m doing my best to be ready as soon as possible.”

And during Friday’s pre-match press conference, head coach Eddie Howe gave nothing away, with Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson set to remain on the sidelines until after the international break.
Howe said: “Everyone has improved but I’ll leave my team news until the time when we get it,” Howe said during his pre-match press conference.
“It’s been a difficult period for us but hopefully we’re coming out of that. They’re big players for us, we need them back quickly.”
