Chelsea and Newcastle United go head-to-head for the third time this campaign as Eddie Howe's side seek revenge for their heartbreaking Carabao Cup exit.
The Magpies welcomed Mauricio Pochettino's men to St James' Park in November as claimed a 4-1 victory following goals from Alexander Isak, Jamaal Lascelles, Joelinton and Anthony Gordon.
But while United got the upper hand in the Premier League meeting, it was Chelsea's time to celebrate in December when they dumped Howe's men out of the Carabao Cup on penalties. Newcastle were leading via Callum Wilson's opener until stoppage time but a Kieran Trippier mistake gifted Mykhailo Mudryk an equaliser.
Trippier is among the players who won't be involved this evening after picking up a calf injury during the victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out. Chelsea have also picked up two fresh injuries from their draw at Brentford with Levi Colwill and Ben Chilwell ruled out.
While Newcastle's absentee list has eased in recent weeks with the likes Alexander Isak, Joe Willock and Elliot Anderson returning, Chelsea have been dealt a number of fresh injury blows. We take a look at the latest injury news from both camps:
