Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is celebrating the three year anniversary of his arrival in the North East ahead of his side’s trip to face high-flying Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday.
Over the course of his tenure, he has helped spearhead the St James’ Park side from a Premier League relegation battle to Champions League qualification - ushering in a whole host of exciting new signings and academy prospects along the way. All while also transforming the fortunes of many players that had been completely written off by almost all corners before his arrival.
Howe has taken charge of a combined total of 138 matches at Newcastle United since succeeding Steve Bruce, making him the fourth longest-serving Magpies manager in the Premier League era behind only Alan Pardew, Sir Bobby Robson and Kevin Keegan.
