Eddie Howe has reportedly given Newcastle United the green light to chase the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Arsenal and Brentford have been keeping a close eye on the highly-rated Ukrainian wideman, with the Bees said to have seen a bid in the region of £26million rejected for the 21-year-old last month.

Mikel Arteta is also understood to be a big fan of the player, who has been earning rave reviews for his performances for Champions League outfit Donetsk.
The Magpies will look to add another attacker to their ranks in the January window, with the club unable to progress deals for the likes of James Maddison, Moussa Diaby and Jack Harrison.

The want to add a wide attacker remains high on the agenda, as is the addition of yet another midfielder.
And according to Football Insider, Howe is said to be a "firm admirer" of Mudryk and has "given the green light to a concerted pursuit".
