Ex-Newcastle United boss ‘snubbed’ by Leeds United as new favourites emerge to replace Jesse Marsch
Leeds United are stepping up their search for a new manager after sacking Jesse Marsch.
The Whites parted company with the American on Monday after the 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest left them 17th in the Premier League & without a win in eight matches.
Elland Road officials are keen to make a swift appointment ahead of this week’s double-header against arch-rivals Manchester United, with a host of names already linked.
One of those has been former Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez but the chances of him arriving at Leeds appear to be unlikely.
The Whites reportedly have their eye on other candidates. Here’s the latest frontrunners:
