Newcastle United have a fresh injury concern ahead of Saturday evening's Premier League trip to Arsenal (kick-off 8pm).
The Magpies drew 2-2 with AFC Bournemouth yesterday after goals from Anthony Gordon and Matt Ritchie cancelled out Dominic Solanke and Antoine Semenyo's second half strikes.
In a season full of injuries, it looked as though United had come through the Cherries clash unscathed, however Fabian Schar was spotted in some discomfort after the full-time whistle.
The Switzerland international went down clutching his arm and made a makeshift sling out of his shirt, much like Callum Wilson did at Nottingham Forest last week.
Wilson subsequently underwent surgery on his pectoral muscle on Friday and is expected to miss the majority of the campaign. But for Schar, things are looking much more hopeful.
Speaking after the game, United boss Eddie Howe said: "I think the ball hit his arm at the end, I'm whispering that to you because I don't know if he was in the box or not but the ball hit his arm. I think it just twisted his wrist so fingers crossed it's not too serious because we can certainly do with another injury linked to the arm."
Newcastle were without the likes of Alexander Isak and Joe Willock against Bournemouth but both players are believed to be closing in on a comeback.
