Final Premier League table predicted: Intriguing finishes for Newcastle United, Liverpool & Arsenal

Newcastle United will look to use the disappointment of their Carabao Cup final defeat to spur them on for the remainder of the Premier League campaign.

Eddie Howe’s men failed to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 68 years after losing 2-0 to Manchester United at Wembley on Sunday. But the Magpies still have plenty to play for as they eye European football for next season.

Currently, United sit fifth in the top-flight table, four points below fourth place Tottenham Hotspur, though have two games in-hand. Reaching the Champions League is the ultimate goal but having not played in Europe in 10 years, you suspect Howe & Co would settle for either a Europa League or Conference League spot.
