Bruno Guimaraes is set to start for Newcastle United against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 12:30pm).
The Magpies midfielder twisted his ankle during the 2-0 Carabao Cup final defeat on Sunday before being replaced by Joe Willock in the 79th minute.

There were concerns the Brazilian could miss the trip to the Etihad Stadium, but head coach Eddie Howe has provided good news.
“Yeah Bruno’s fine,” said Howe. “He was in a bit of short-term pain but nothing that has impacted his training week.”
Newcastle will be boosted by the return of Nick Pope and Anthony Gordon. Pope served a one-match suspension against Manchester United, while Gordon was cup-tied.
“He’s got a big part to play. He’s been working hard in the background in between these games,” Howe said on Gordon.

“When he came to us, he was a little bit short of high-energy fitness, so we’ve done that work with him and he’s looked really, really good, and physically very strong.
“(I’m) really excited about what he can do in the second-half of the season.”
