However, the London-based publication has received new information, with Hudson-Odoi now expected NOT to play after loan interest intensified in the last 24 hours.

It’s claimed the winger is “getting some good offers” and is now likely to leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis.

Newcastle are understood to have already registered an interest in Hudson-Odoi as they search for attacking reinforcements.

The tweet by journalist Nizaar Kinsella has left Magpies fans wondering if a move for the former Bayern Munich target is on the cards.

“Wilson, Maxi and Hudson-Odoi?” replied one fan, while another said:”I’ve got a feeling it will be to us. Why else would Amanda Staveley be at the Chelsea game?”

Indeed, Eddie Howe is pushing to bolster his offensive options having strengthened his backline with the signings of Matt Targett, Nick Pope and Sven Botman.

Speaking about the Hudson-Odoi’s future recently, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel did not rule out a summer exit.

He said: “In general, nobody is for sale and everybody is for sale,” Tuchel said.

“It depends on what the player wants, how bad the player wants it, what we think, who is ready to pay a certain amount of money.

“Then, maybe, everybody is for sale. But for Callum, it’s the same. He competes. He had a long-term injury and long-term problems to overcome from which he suffered.

“He has still a way to go to live up to his potential, because the potential is huge.

“Having Raheem in can maybe give him the extra boost to step up and see life, what is needed in these kind of positions to reach the level that he can reach, that he wants to reach.

“But at the moment he is our player and he needs to fight, fight, fight.”

That said, the three-capped England international isn’t the only Chelsea player United have reportedly asked about.

As reported elsewhere, Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Christian Pulisic have also been discussed a possible loan options.
