Fantasy Premier League has launched for the 2022/23 season
After an excruciatingly drawn-out promotion, Newcastle United fans can finally pick their Fantasy Premier League squads for the 2022/23 season.
The popular online game for the next campaign launched online this afternoon after spending the last three days slowly revealing the prices of popular players.
Over eight million people across the globe play Fantasy Premier League, which sees managers pick squads of 15 players and see real-life performances reflected in their scores.
There are substitutions to make along the way, special one-week only chips to play and double gameweeks to navigate.
This year there is the added complexity of the World Cup halfway through the season, although fantasy players will have unlimited transfers throughout that period.
A handful of Newcastle United player prices had already been confirmed but the launch of the game sees the full list revealed.
There's no doubt that Allan Saint-Maximin">Allan Saint-Maximin's switch to become a midfielder is the talking topic, meaning he'll score an extra point for every goal next season.
Bruno Guimaraes has also been handed a modest price despite his scintillating form last season whilst Joelinton also moves position and gets a price rise.
