Here’s where all of the Newcastle United players went to school, including the six Geordies

We’ve got a fair few local lads playing for our first team.

A footballer’s background plays a massive part in the type of player they become.

Whether it be the local teams they play for, the academies they attend or even the school they went to.

So, I’ve done some digging to try to find out the school each Newcastle United first team player attended.

And by digging I mean trusting things that have been said on the internet, along with scouring the page of the only player to still have Facebook.

Counting Jacob Murphy due to his familial connections to the area, there are currently six players in the team who are from the North East.

Each going to different schools, Newcastle United has been a constant in their lives, either by supporting their boyhood club or coming up through its academy.

Two player even played for the same team during their youth careers.
