It’s the morning after the night before and Newcastle United are still on a high following their massive win over Everton.

The Magpies fell behind through Jamaal Lascelles’ own goal before Mason Holgate returned the favour less than a minute later.

Ryan Fraser handed United the lead just after half-time as man of the match Kieran Trippier buried a free-kick 10 minutes from the end to confirm a vitally important three points in front of an electric St James’ Park.

The victory, their second in-a-row, lifts Eddie Howe’s side out of the Premier League relegation zone for the first time since October.
