Brazilian giants Santos are reportedly set to make an imminent decision over the future of Newcastle United and Liverpool transfer target Angelo Gabriel.
The 18-year-old forward is said to be one of the hottest properties in South America and is attracting attention from clubs around Europe. However, the most recent reports over a possible move away from his boyhood club have linked him with a £10m move to Flamengo.

Gabriel’s agent moved to calm take of an imminent move earlier this week when he told Premier League Brasil: "At the moment, it's all speculation. There's nothing (from England). Angelo doesn't talk about playing abroad, he speaks about Santos a lot and is focused here. Now that he's currently at Santos, he doesn't think about that."
Those claims were contradicted by Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade earlier this week as he took to Twitter to give an update on Gabriel’s next move. He said: ‘Angelo: Santos accepted 12 million euros from Flamengo for 50% of the striker's rights, who, in turn, still doesn't want to leave now - he prefers Europe in the middle of the year. There is also an impasse between the intermediary Luisinho 'Piracicaba' and the agent Marisa Ajila. Negotiations continue”.
Barcelona, Newcastle and Liverpool were all linked with a move for Gabriel over the last two months but it is Nottingham Forest that are said to be the latest European club showing an interest in the youngster. The City Ground club were believed to have made a move for the Brazil Under-20 international during the final days of the January transfer window and their interest is said to remain alive.
