Newcastle United were without a staggering senior 14 players for Tuesday night's Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain, yet came within minutes of stunning the French champions.
Up until the 96th minute, Alexander Isak's first half opener looked to be the difference between the two sides. However, PSG were awarded a controversial penalty, which Kylian Mbappe converted.
Still, it was a monumental effort by Eddie Howe's side as the 11 players who started the game finished due to the lack of options on the bench.
Next up for Newcastle is Manchester United at St James' Park on Saturday evening with the likes of Matt Ritchie, Mark Gillespie and Emil Krafth set to return to the matchday after being ineligible in the Champions League.
