Joelinton 'has dropped' major Newcastle United comeback hint ahead of Crystal Palace clash
Blonde Joelinton is back and it has left Newcastle United supporters speculating if a return from injury is near.
United have been without their Brazilian powerhouse since the beginning of January after he picked up a thigh injury during the Tyne-Wear derby victory at Sunderland. The issue required surgery and the 27-year-old has spent almost four months recovering.

Hide AdJoelinton penned a new long-term contract at St James’ Park earlier this month, which coincided with his return to individual training. While it is hoped the midfielder will be back in action before the end of the campaign, Eddie Howe has refused to provide a definite date.
“We need to make sure he is ready to play, we can’t rush the process,” said Howe. “He has to be feeling good and we have to minimise risk.
“Undoubtedly yeah [we’ve missed him]. I think he’s got that presence as well, he’s a big guy, not only in personality but stature. I think we’ve missed his duel winning ability, his coverage in midfield and versatility as well.
“That can’t be underestimated when you have injuries like we have, it’s important we have players who can play dual roles. We need him back as quickly as possible.”

Hide AdIs Joelinton’s comeback only a matter of time? Well, some Newcastle supporters certainly think so after he shared his familiar blonde hair appearance to his Instagram followers late on Tuesday night.
One fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: “Joelinton getting his blonde trim, is he back?” to which another replied: “Why did I have to see this? I miss him so much. If he is not playing tomorrow, then I hold you personally responsible, sir, on the grounds of building up my gullible expectations.”
Some, however, aren’t convinced it hints at an imminent return, unless Bruno Guimaraes follows suit. The Brazilian boys have often dyed their hair together with their relationship blossoming both on and off the pitch.
And Newcastle will hope to see the pair reunite on the pitch in the coming weeks. Eddie Howe’s side travel to Crystal Palace this evening before facing Sheffield United, Burnley, Brighton and Hove Albion, Manchester United and Brentford.
