Newcastle United are hopeful their injury situation will look slightly better when Chelsea visit St James' Park on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
As it stands, the Magpies are currently without 14 senior players, whether that's through injury, suspension or ineligibility, all of which has left Eddie Howe's squad severely depleted in recent weeks.
Benefitting from the two-week international break however, Howe is hopeful of welcoming at least two players back from the treatment room, while also being boosted by Bruno Guimaraes' return from suspension.
United host Mauricio Pochettino's Blues this weekend before facing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday.
