Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope & Joelinton: Newcastle United injury list & expected return dates.

Newcastle United were dealt a fresh injury concern during Saturday afternoon's 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at St James' Park.

Eddie Howe's side were leading 2-0 following first-half goals from Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon when Kieran Trippier went to ground unchallenged in the 50th minute.

The England right-back had to be replaced by Tino Livramento moments later and Howe said after the game: "Kieran felt something in his calf and had to come off the pitch. That is a concern for us, although I don’t know how serious it is at this moment."

Livramento went on to net his first Newcastle goal since joining from Southampton for £32million plus add-ons last summer.

Meanwhile, Isak and Joe Willock came through a third game unscathed following their comeback from their respective injuries. Both players were replaced in the 70th minute.
