What Eddie Howe has said

“It’d be a big blow to lose him but we’ll wait and see.”

“We’ll have to make a late check on Paul Dummett to see where he is physically but it’s good to have the choice.”
Potential return date
Dummett could return against Villa but that feels unlikely.
Perhaps the trip to West Ham United next Saturday will be better suited for the 30-year-old.

What Eddie Howe has said
Howe has said very little on Ritchie’s injury, though did he state he’d be out “longer-term”.
Potential return date
Unknown.
Callum Wilson
The injury
Wilson has been out of action since injurying his calf in the 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United on December 27.
What Eddie Howe has said
“There’s a time when he’s due back but, I think, as always with these types of injuries, is not absolutely clear.

Hide Ad“We’ll go more on how he feels than a specific time given by the physios or doctors.
“It’s been slow progress for him since the initial injury. He’s been on crutches. I think he’s come off those crutches now, and is walking, which is a big step.
“We all wish Callum to come back as quickly as possible, but when he comes back, he’s got to be fit and ready to give his best.
“I don’t think it’s going to be short-term. Hopefully, he can make the last few games of the season, and really help us in the key moment.”
Potential return date
Still not clear, although Howe’s comments suggest he might not return until April at the earliest.
