Liam Kennedy has picked his Newcastle United team to face Burnley in this weekend’s crunch clash - and he’s made two key changes.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United will have to make their own little bit of Premier League history if they’re to continue their top flight, post-takeover dream.

No team in the near 30 years since the Premier League came into being has ever managed to stay up having not won in their first 14 games. United are winless in 15 in all competitions.

Here Liam Kennedy takes a look at the team he thinks has the best chance of securing a win at St James’ Park - and he’s sticking with Eddie Howe’s 4-4-1-1.

Centre-back: Fabian Schar

Get his mind right, and tighten up the team around him - Schar can be a star in this United backline. Very much looked like a player who’d barely played a game in 12 months last time out.
