They are also very close to signing Brighton defender Dan Burn, after a £13m fee for the defender was agreed with Brighton.
The club had also been pushing to bring in Jesse Lingard on loan from Manchester United after a move for Stade Reims striker Hugo Ekitike fell through – but the Red Devils are reportedly unwilling to let Lingard leave today.
