Manchester United are worried about Antony after the Brazilian left the Old Trafford pitch on a stretcher this evening.

Knowing a point is enough to seal Champions League qualification, the Reds Devils opened the scoring just six minutes in when Casemiro headed home Christian Eriksen’s free-kick. Anthony Martial then added a second in first-half stoppage time.

In the 24th minute, Antony went to ground following a tackle from Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. The winger looked in a considerable amount of pain as he clutched his foot.

The 23-year-old was stretchered off and replaced by top scorer Marcus Rashford, who had missed the Red Devils’ last two games versus Wolves and Bournemouth, firstly because of a leg injury and secondly due to illness.

Antony could now miss Sunday’s final Premier League game of the season at home to Fulham and the FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley.

Man United will leapfrog Newcastle United into third in the Premier League if they hang on against Chelsea. A draw, however, will see Eddie Howe’s men, who travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, stay third on goal difference.
