Manchester United star suffers new injury blow - now eight players ruled out v Newcastle United

Manchester United will be without eight senior players for Saturday's Premier League clash against Newcastle United.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has provided an injury update ahead of Saturday night's Premier League against Newcastle United at St James' Park (kick-off 8pm).

Ten Hag's men surrendered a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with Galatasaray on Wednesday, a result that put a major dent in their hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League.

They must beat Bayern Munich at Old Trafford in the final game and pray Galatasaray's trip to Copenhagen ends in a draw. But before then, the Red Devils play three Premier League matches - starting with a visit to Tyneside this weekend.

While Marcus Rashford will return after serving his one-match suspension, ten Hag remains without a lengthy list of players, as does his opposite number Eddie Howe.

Here, NewcastleWorld takes a look at Man United's full list of absentees ahead of the two clubs' meeting:
