Miguel Almiron, Kieran Trippier & Callum Wilson: Newcastle United expected return dates - 7 out v Aston Villa

Miguel Almiron, Kieran Trippier & Callum Wilson: Newcastle United absentee list & expected return dates.

Newcastle United will be hoping for positive news on the injury front ahead of Tuesday night's Premier League trip to Aston Villa (kick-off 8:15pm).

Eddie Howe's side welcomed back Jacob Murphy for the 2-0 FA Cup win at Fulham on Saturday. The former Norwich City winger featured for the first time since dislocating his shoulder in November and saw a goal ruled out for offside at Craven Cottage.

Tino Livramento also returned to the matchday squad having missed the 3-2 defeat to Manchester City through illness. However, illness again affected the camp ahead of the visit to West London with Miguel Almiron forced to sit out.

The Paraguayan has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia and Howe has expressed a desire to keep the player. However, the United boss did admit that a departure is a possibility in the remaining days of the January transfer window.

Howe insisted Almiron's illness is genuine. And he too played down talk of Jamaal Lascelles moving to Turkey. The Newcastle skipper was also absent for the journey to the capital.

Kieran Trippier withdrew late on as he continues to manage a groin problem. Meanwhile, Callum Wilson, Harvey Barnes and Joe Willock remain out but the attacking trio are understood to be edging closer to a return.

Here is the current Newcastle United injury list and expected return dates...
