New predicted Premier League table after Newcastle United & West Ham defeats - and Man Utd win

New predicted Premier League table after recent defeats to Newcastle United & West Ham United, and a win for Manchester United.

Newcastle United currently sit 8th in the Premier League table - but where are Eddie Howe's side predicted to finish come May?

The Magpies dropped one place in the table after losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, while Manchester United twice came from behind to see off relegation threatened Sheffield United 4-2 at Old Trafford.

United headed to Selhurst Park on the back of a 10-day break after thrashing Champions League-chasing Tottenham Hotspur. But against Palace, it was a similar story when it comes to their away troubles. Howe’s side have won just four times on the road this campaign, the 15th worst in the division.

The race for European qualification, where a top seven finish is likely to be enough, is threatening to go down to the wire. Three of Newcastle’s remaining five matches are away, with home games against Sheff United and Brighton and Hove Albion followed by trips to Burnley, Man United and Brentford.

How will the Premier League table look come the end of the season? Using their calculations, FootballWP have predicted where each club will finish.
