New Premier League final table: Where Newcastle United, West Ham & Chelsea are tipped to finish

Final Premier League 2023-24 table predicted: Where Newcastle United, West Ham & Chelsea are tipped to finish.

Newcastle United currently sit 10th in the Premier League table - but where are Eddie Howe's side expected to finish come May?

The Magpies dropped from eighth to 10th over the weekend following wins for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion. A win at Chelsea on Monday night would have seen United rise to seventh but they ultimate blew their opportunity.

A 3-2 defeat, with goals from Alexander Isak and Jacob Murphy cancelled out by Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk, was the club's 12th defeat of the campaign, compared to the five last season.

It also allowed Chelsea to move one point behind United in the table with a game in-hand. Howe's men have aspirations of finishing in the top seven, i.e the European qualification spots, but recent form and performances isn't exactly inspiring confidence.

There are 10 league matches to go, starting with rivals West Ham at St James' Park after the international break. But before then, Newcastle's focus is on Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final away to Manchester City.

"In the Premier League we have to keep going and commit to every game and give our best to try and win every single match, and that’s what we’ll try to do," said Howe. "Our priority is the FA Cup, that is going to be a big challenge for us.

"We have to forget about the Premier League for a while and commit to this game we’ve had on the horizon. And then we have a break and then once we come back we have to give the Premier League everything."

How will the Premier League table look come the end of the season? Using their calculations, FootballWP have predicted where each club will finish.

A 3-2 defeat, with goals from Alexander Isak and Jacob Murphy cancelled out by Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk, was the club's 12th defeat of the campaign, compared to the five last season.
