Newcastle United’s kits for the 2022/23 campaign have again been ‘leaked’ - with new photographs emerging on social media.

Twitter account @Retro_NUFChas published professional-looking images showing a home, away and third shirt, as manufactured by Castore.

The home jersey has thinner black and white shirts with a round neck. @Retro_NUFC believes “there is a nod to 130 year anniversary on the side stripe”.

The away shirt is identical to the one leaked a few weeks ago, with the white and green colours resembling the Saudi Arabia national team shirt.

“I’m aware of the criticisms,” Howe said, when asked about the away colours. “From my perspective, it’s not something I’ve had any control over.

“We were very aware when we went to Saudi Arabia, the interest in Newcastle is huge.

“I’m making an assumption here, but, I think, our kit manufacturer has probably acknowledged that, hence why we’ve ended up where we are.”

Meanwhile, the third shirt is dark blue with a gold trim.

The jerseys do not display any sponsors, raising questions over whether or not Newcastle will ditch their current FUN88 sponsor for next season.

Rumours of potential new sponsorship have been a constant theme since the club was acquired by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia-led consortium in October.
