Newcastle United have been told how much money they may have to part with in order to secure the signing of Ismail Yuksek this summer. Eddie Howe's side are one of several sides being linked with interest in the midfielder by HITC, with Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Wolves said to be keen alongside a number of outfits in Germany and Spain.

Yuksek, who is currently on the books at Turkish giants Fenerbahce, is expected to leave the club this summer, with a move to one of the major leagues in Europe being touted. However, any interested party will be expected to dig relatively deep in order to sign the Turkey international.

That's according to Omer Faruk Uzuner, Yuksek's coach at his previous club Golcukspor, who insists a fee of around £21.4m might just be enough to persuade Fenerbahce to sell this summer.

“I think that Ismail can leave if he receives offers from clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City,” Uzuner, who continues to manage Golcukspor, told Sporx. “Fenerbahce will not sell him for a figure below 25 million euros.”

The 25-year-old has been with Fenerbahce since 2020 and this season alone he had made 42 appearances for the club in all competitions, playing at the base of the midfield alongside the likes of former Manchester United man Fred. However, despite helping the club win 25 of their 30 league games, they currently sit second with Galatasaray the current Super Lig leaders. Yuksek has earned 14 caps for Turkey and he can expect to play a key role this summer at Euro 2024.

Of course, Newcastle are gearing up for what could be a key summer in the transfer market as they strive to level up across the park. The Magpies are expected to welcome Sandro Tonali back into the fold next season, of course, but their January interest in Kalvin Phillips was enough to show the club are looking for a sitting midfielder to add to their ranks.
