Newcastle United co-owner Jamie Reuben hailed a “great performance” by Eddie Howe’s side in their 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
The Magpies claimed a point at Old Trafford to extend their unbeaten run to five matches, with just one defeat registered in their opening 10 fixtures.
Newcastle might have felt Man United were there for the taken in the first-half, particularly when Joelinton hit the woodwork twice with succession headers.
But after the break, Howe’s men struggled to maintain their attacking threat and arguably rode their luck in the closing stages.
However, a draw at Old Trafford is another sign of how far United have come under Howe over the last 12 months.
Co-owners Amanda Staveley, Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Reuben were in attendance, and the latter hailed a great performance.
