What Jeff Hendrick said about his move to QPR
Hendrick said: “Anyone who knows me will know I will be disappointed with the game time I have got this season so I wanted to get out, get games and enjoy my football.
“I wasn’t just going to sit around. A big thing for me is to push myself and enjoy my football.”
Hendrick’s short-term departure will free up space in the club’s 25-man Premier League squad.

Meanwhile, Matty Longstaff has joined League Two side Mansfield Town on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
The 21-year-old was recalled from his loan at Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen at the start of January due to a lack of game time.
Longstaff then linked up with Howe’s first-team and played against Al-Ittihad in the club’s mid-season trip to Saudi Arabia.
On his return to the United Kingdom however, Longstaff has been loaned out to Mansfield for the rest of the season.

Speaking on Friday, Howe, when asked about Longstaff by NewcastleWorld, said: “We will see with Matty.
“I have had limited time to view him, and assess him.
“First and foremost I will say he is like his brother, a great lad. Really enthusiastic, very passionate about the football club.
“I’ve been very impressed with him in terms of a person and human being.
“In terms of his career and the latter part of the season, we will have to make a decision in conjunction with him and see what the future holds.
