Newcastle United confirmed starting XI v Man City: Tino Livramento blow as Joelinton replacement named

Newcastle United's starting XI to face Manchester City features one change from the Tyne-Wear derby victory over Sunderland.

The Magpies lost Joelinton to a quad injury with the Brazilian ruled out for a minimum of six weeks. In his place, 17-year-old Lewis Miley comes back into the line-up.

In a fresh blow for United, Tino Livramento is missing from the matchday squad meaning Dan Burn retains his spot at left-back with Trippier at right-back.

Eddie Howe's side are hoping to end a run of three straight Premier League defeats against the reigning champions and move back up the table after slipping ninth as a result of Chelsea's lunchtime win at home to Fulham.
